Candle Safety & Use

Our taper candles are designed to drip beautifully. Please follow safety guidance below.

General Safety

•Burn upright in a secure, non-flammable holder

• Trim wick to ~5 mm before lighting

• Keep away from drafts, pets and children

• Leave at least 10 cm between burning candles

• Never burn for more than 2 hours at a time

• Extinguish before the flame reaches the holder – ideally with 2–3 cm wax remaining

• Never leave a burning candle unattended

• Candles may drip – protect surfaces accordingly

• Extinguish with a snuffer – avoid blowing out

Burn Times

Because candles vary in size and form, burn times are approximate:

• Taper candles: ~100 minutes each

• Sculptural / molded candles (“volcanic edition” and others): burn times vary – designed for decorative burning and occasional use

For sculptural forms, expect irregular melting – this is part of the design.
Manufacturing & Materials

Hand-finished in small batches.

• Natural soy wax blend

• Refined paraffin wax for sculpted forms / taper stability

• Wick: cotton

• Slight variations are part of the craft nature of each piece
Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love your purchase.

• Unused candles (unlit, in original packaging) may be returned within 14 days of delivery

• Used or lit candles cannot be returned for safety reasons

• If an item arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours with photos – we will replace or refund

• Dispatch time: 2–5 working days

• UK shipping: Royal Mail tracked / courier options available

• EU shipping: tracked international post – buyer is responsible for any import taxes or duties

• We pack products protectively, but if an item arrives damaged, contact us

If gifting, add a note – we do not include pricing in parcels.

• We batch produce to reduce waste
Storage & Handling

• Store in a cool, dry place

• Avoid heat or direct sunlight – colours may fade or warp

• Keep glossy candles away from abrasion or scratching
Allergy / Safety Notes (EU-compliant light wording)

Our candles may contain fragrance-free stabilising additives.

If you or someone in your home is sensitive to wax components, use with caution.
